Hooded Towel Tutorial

Hooded Towels are something that every child should have.
I grew up not having one and I was very jealous of those that did.
With how easy these are to make, there are no excuses. :)

This tutorial takes one large towel and one hand towel and embellishments such as ribbon, fabric, or trims, and all of these you can get from The Ribbon Retreat. You can make it as girly as can be or a simple as you'd like. The possibilities are endless.

Bow Tie Tutorial

Bow ties are really easy!

Why am I not making one for every week of church?
Seriously, I loved making these and they are adorable on!

The How To Make A Bow Tie tutorial is on The Ribbon Retreat Blog.
Just hop on over to see it!

The tutorial goes over how to change things up if you like them smaller, bigger, chunkier, etc.

If you're not making bow ties, here's your chance! Whip one up for Christmas Day!
Any one else excited Christmas is on a Sunday? Love it! :)

I just had to add this really edited picture of them... is it too edited? I kind of like it! :)

And obviously since I work for The Ribbon Retreat, if you're looking for Christmas fabrics, they have a lot of them! And some cute Christmas bow ties would be so cute for Christmas!

Fabric Mod Podge Christmas Star

Have you ever used Fabric Mod Podge?
I am sure you have!

But did you know the best way to stop the fabric from bubbling up?

If not, you'll find out how in my Fabric Mod Podge Christmas Star Tutorial on The Ribbon Retreat Blog.

I admit that I am kind of late jumping on the bandwagon using Fabric Mod Podge, but I'm going to make up for it! I already have another project in store and can't wait to show you!

But for now, here is my star, which makes me smile every time I see it.

Merry Christmas!
