I took these fun pics of my kiddos using beautiful designer fabric from The Ribbon Retreat as a fun backdrop.
I love to take pictures of my kids! I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I like to dress up the normal picture every once in awhile and fabric is a great way to do that. I also find taking pictures of my kids to be a great way to spend quality time with them.
I have a tutorial on how to use a fabric backdrop and also how to take and edit the pictures with a point and shoot camera. Anyone can have professional looking pictures!
Check out my Fabric Backdrop Tutorial on The Ribbon Retreat Blog!
See where I linked up on my Link Party tab!
The color is great--I'm usually afraid to set my kids up in front of something colorful, but it adds so much more interest than a neutral!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info on this! I'm kind of obsessed with doing photo shoots with my son. The fabric really makes it fun!
ReplyDeleteCould your boys be ANY cuter??? I don't think so!! I love the green bow-ties and this backdrop is AMAZING! Please link it up to my 2nd party?? http://www.52mantels.com/2012/01/thursdays-are-your-days-2.html
ReplyDeleteThis is so totally pinned!
What a gorgeous idea. Just think how happy you'll be when you look back on these a few years from now.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking the time to join our Pin'Inspiration party this week. I'm hoping that you'll pop by tomorrow and share at my "Beat The Winter Blues" party. :-)
What a fabulous idea!
ReplyDeletelove this idea - I'm always blogging about fun ways to photograph my kids (in front of beaded curtains, home made photo-booths, behind curtains and so on) - but yours is stupendously gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe thing I LOVE most is that there's a candy-cane in the fabric, and in bubba's mouth - divine!

Oh my goodness how adorable!!! Look at those cheeks! :-) Makes me miss when my sweet babies were that little...sigh...it really does go so fast but you are capturing these stages so wonderfully through photos and I love the backdrop. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Inspiration Friday this week!

These are great photos. I think I will give this a try when my little one is old enough I can convince him to sit in front of the fabric for a moment... I missed the non-mobile baby stage for this idea!
ReplyDeleteYour children are so adorable!
